The details:
Each school is asked to come up with their own strategies for the following 4 requirements during a 3-year period:
1. Recycle at least one new material.
2. Create two waste reduction projects.
For example: eliminate the use of disposables in the cafeteria.
3. Form an environmental student group and launch three promotional activities.
For example: conduct a school-wide recycling contest.
4. Reach out to the parents and community to get everyone excited about recycling.
For example: publish an article about the program in your school newsletter.
