One day, our children will ask:
"What's a trash can?"

Green Up Our Schools is a grant program that supports elementary school waste reduction & recycling programs.

End of Year Visits

Thanks for another wonderful year! As we wind down, we'd like to schedule our end of year visits with each school:

Thanks for a great dinner, Colorado!

Our 5th annual Appreciation Dinner for our 21 Denver area schools was a big success, thanks to everyone who made it! The Garden Restaurant was a beautiful location for the event.

Denver Composting Petition

Denver Recycles' compost pilot program has been a wonderful success: in addition to hundreds of residents, over 20 schools & city buildings are now composting thousands of pounds of organic waste every day.

This has helped greatly reduce the amount of garbage we send to the landfill. Join us in telling the City Council that we love this program, and want to see it expanded to the rest of Denver!

California Appreciation Dinner:
6pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2013

Join us for dinner and drinks as we celebrate another year of the program at the 5th Annual Appreciation Dinner for the Green Up Our Schools program.

We can only think of good things to say about this program. The network is great. Being connected to other schools in the community is really valuable.
